1) Don’t wait until the end of the day to have sex, when you’re probably exhausted — try finding alternate times to enjoy sexual pleasure, like first thing in the morning, or in the shower.

2) Physical affection with your partner throughout the day will keep you bonded — and even if you aren’t up for sex, that moral support will not only help lessen your stress, it could also possibly get you in the mood.

3) Take care of your health. It’s easy to turn to food or alcohol or other substances  when you are stressed, but that will only sexual desire (and possibly your partner’s desire for you). “Exercise frequently and eat well, and make your health a priority. Sex can be an important part of a healthy lifestyle,” Dr. Berman writes. “Not only does sex burn calories and make you feel good, it also can decrease stress…a true win-win.”
