Coco here! Ready to give you the Smoothie of the Day! Today’s smoothie will help you curb that chocolate craving with something that’s super-flavorful and full of nutrients, vitamin and minerals!
- 2 cups almond milk , or any other milk you prefer
- 2 bananas (peeled frozen)
- 1/2 cup pecans (about 1 3/4 ounces, can substitute walnuts or almonds)
- 1/2 cup cocoa nibs, or a small palmful semi sweet chocolate chips (about 10-15)
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsps nutella
Add milk or almond milk, frozen bananas, pecans, cocoa or semi sweet chocolate, cinnamon, and Nutella to a blender. Turn blender to low, and blend until roughly pureed, about 30 seconds. Gradually increase speed to high and blend until smooth, about 1 minute longer.
Numerous studies show that Cinnamon regulates blood sugar, this is great news for anyone who wants stable energy levels and moods. Researchers from the University of Copenhagen found that dark chocolate is far more filling and nutritious than milk or white chocolate.
