Make YOUR OWN Delicious, Pineapple Habanero Salsa!!
We’ve found the perfect recipe for a healthy and DELICIOUS salsa that’s great for a get-together, or just to snack on! This salsa is excellent on grilled fish, grilled chicken and grilled lean pork loin. It’s simple to make and easy to enjoy, and here’s all you’ll need:
—1 habanero chile pod, seeded and diced
—1 cup fresh, diced pineapple
—1/3 cup diced white or red onion
—1/2 cup diced tomato
—1/3 cup chopped cilantro
—Fresh lemon juice to taste
—Salt to taste
—Garlic powder to taste
Now that you have your ingredients, combine everything (except habanero) into a large bowl. Take the habanero peppers, slice to desired size and seed them. You may want to wear gloves, since habanero chile oil is very rich in capsaicin, which can irritate the skin! After you’ve finished slicing the habanero, add the slices to the mix (to desired spiciness), stir and enjoy!
